Journal 10: Nature’s Riches – Timber Bonanza

This is the third of three journals covering the commercialisation of natural products from the districts by both first and second nation people as the harbours became accessible by sailing ships, which in turn allowed for the export of these riches to the far corners of the world.  This journal looks at the annihilation of Kauri and other native forests through logging.
